What’s Happening at Antoneiths
We opened the Dance and Fitness studio on the 14 of January 2007 and from day one interest was strong. In the past couple of weeks it has become increasingly difficult to meet demand by scheduling more classes as all available time slots are now taken. We have been unable to commense evening aerobics despite strong demand. There is also interest in additional Martial Arts and Yoga classes. So on the 24th of February barely one month later we are expanding. We have secured the larger shop next door to open a second studio. We plan to have it opened in one week but painting and renovations will take about one month to complete.
We will then open this second studio as a Dance Club after 10 pm complete with bar and seating upstairs and downstairs. We plan to have social dancing evenings earlier in the week including ball room and Salsa nights. Later in the week it will become a Disco and Techo dance club.

Belly Dancing School - Belly dancing originates in the Middle East and has finally escaped the Hollywood image of just being a Sexy deductive dance. It is now universally recognized as an art form and an excellent way to exercise. Belly Dancing is our most popular class. Many joining are inspired by exponents like Shakira while others see it as an excellent workout on the abdominals and general body toning. One of the best things about Belly Dancing is that it can be enjoyed by all different shapes and ages. It gives you a great work that not only helps you keep in shape, it teaches poise and elegance, but most of all it’s a lot of fun.

Ballroom Class - Ballroom dancing has long been popular with Filipinos as a social activity but did you know that it is also an excellent form of exercise? Depending on the dance step, ballroom dancing can burn anywhere from 250 calories to 400 calories an hour which is equivalent to a brisk half-hour walk on a treadmill, and more demanding dances like the Tango, Salsa, Samba and Cha-cha can be comparable to an intense session at the gym. Dancing works muscles in different parts of the body and sharpens balance and coordination. Memorizing steps, kicks and twirls also flexes the mind. It is suitable for ages and is also a lot of fun.
