Belly Dancing Performance for Rotary Club of Central Mactan
Annual Induction & Turnover Ceremony - June 2006
BELLY DANCE FOR MACTAN ROTARY CLUB
Antonieth was invited to perform at the Annual Induction & Turnover Ceremony for the Rotary Club of Central Mactan. After learning about the community projects they were involved in she was more than happy to volunteer her time.
The event was held at the Marina Beach Resort on a typically warm tropical night in the open. This made the experience even more exotic - at least for the non-Filipinos present.
Antonieths Veil dance was a big hit with the crowd, but they were even more excited when Antonieth interacted with a few selected members of the audience. On on she placed her hat with veil, and on another she wrapped her veil around his body. She then encouraged him to join her on the dance floor (grass).
Her first two dances were in the Egyptian Tribal style.
ANTONIETHS VEIL DANCE WAS A BIG HIT WITH THE CROWD
The club then held an auction where male club members were encouraged to volunteer to be auctioned. The audience the bid on each of the five male volunteers who then had to take lessons with Antonieth.
The men were cheered on by the crowd as they attempted to follow some of Antonieths more sensual and seductive moves.
Next it was the turn of the women. Again they were auctioned off raising more money for the club. As one would expect they did a much better job than the males.
